Inspirational Shaker Insert/Bookmark

This is a simple DIY that aways brings a smile to my face when I'm not feeling myself.  It must be the combination of sequins, glitter, and fully customizable quotes and color schemes that always gets me just where I need to be.  This project is easily adaptable to create fun envelopes for gifts and cards, so comment down below if you guys would like the details.  Please share your finished project photos if you do try it out!

   XOXO...The Queen

Supplies:
  • 1 Sheet Protector
  • Glitter/Sequins Mix of Your Choice
  • Transparent(Crystal Clear) Tape
  • Paper Trimmer and/or Scissors
  • Quote of Your Choice

Once the size of your insert/bookmark is decided, insert your quote into the sheet protector.  Trim your sheet protector to size, either using your paper trimmer or scissors.  Insert your Glitter/Sequins mix.  I usually go crazy here, adding rhinestone hearts, flowers, or anything else that is shiny and coordinating!๐Ÿ˜Š  Next, you will want to completely flatten the sheet protector, removing all of the air prior to taping it shut.  Seal the shaker on the open sides using your transparent tape, flattening one last time to ensure all of the air is out prior to final seal.  Lift, give it a few shakes, and Enjoy!๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ซ

Envelopes for Junk Journals

My latest obsession when it comes to junk journaling and creating are envelopes to stash different goodies in.  In the beginning, I would hoard envelopes that I either found or were given, altering and embellishing them.  The process began to evolve when I came across a fabulous board for card making that has a built in scoring mat and cutter.  I started thinking, "as simple as the structure of an envelope is, these have to be simple to construct.  The next thing I know, I was on Pinterest and Google; printing some of the chicest envelopes I have ever seen.  I printed mine on cardstock in various different sizes, punching a hole in a few to add to my A5 and A6 planners.  A that I had really came to enjoy is using my the clean back of my mis-printed sheets of  cardstock that I save from random projects to print my envelopes, giving them a ready-printed design on the inside.  Each one is unique, fun, and easily fillable with various ephemera....

Journal Bows/Bookmarks

One of my favorite past times is creating all different types of clips to decorate my journals and planners.  Depending on what style is utilized, they can be added to virtually anything as the perfect accent or finishing touch.  Each of these items are bits, baubles, and scraps that were left over from other projects(idk, I find I'm the most creative when I'm challenged to use what I already have!).  The bows can be made using free printable templates that can be found on Google, however, I prefer a simple freehand method, in which I linked a video below to show that process(Shout out to Xao Vang!).  Please comment below and share your finished projects!
